Jeff sounds like we need to do a job swap. I need to be less busy and you need more to do. You are welcome to check out the truck any time but please don't try to talk me into darksiding my truck. I will volunteer to host a Central IL gathering of FTE'ers. All would be welcome to attend. I think we need to try for a Winter meeting.
Back to my discussion of cricket. I've actually seen it played right here amongst the cornfields of Central IL. We have a large Indian (from India) population here as they come to work at the world headquarters of State Farm insurance. I've watched it but don't know how to play it. I would give it a try and hope I wouldn't be seriously injured.
No rain here today. I heard reports of 2-3 inches of rainfall and record setting totals in places around here yesterday.
I know it has something to do with Wickets, a peg, a bowler and a dude with a big flat bat trying to keep the bowler from knocking the peg off the wicket. Or at least that's what I think it's about. Haven't the foggiest notion of how it's scored or why.
I hear the matches can be long and tedious if you don't know the game well.
Ya know, I was pretty bummed when my wife split. Even still, I'm a night owl and I knew one thing that I wouldn't miss was having her sticking her head out of the bedroom and squawking at me to either turn the TV down or come to bed. Much to my chagrin, my Jack Russell has learned to pick up her slack. When he decides it's time for bed, he climbs up beside me on the couch, stares at me, and grunts and groans until I surrender and go to bed. (sigh) Sounds like it's bedtime. Night all! (Oh yeah, no rain here in Indiana today, but man the temperature sure dropped!)
