Whats the difference between engine oil and tranny fluid besides one is red?
Why cant transmission fluid be used as engine oil. Whats the deal with special oil for motorcycle engines?
It makes the bat easier to hit those noisey little crickets with when they are hidding in a tight place.
Oh sorry, an answer might pull this into the "not worthless" category! Maybe I should save that for another time. I still want to come check out your truck Rob. And you need to get me a job! I see you are crazy busy! I am so sick of barely anything to do at work...
Why is it always "Roger That" - Why not Ralph That, or Fred That - I wouldn't use Arther That - ***** That would work - And never ever Johnson That
Here are notes on the origin of Roger:
In voice procedures, "Roger" means "GUM" (got your message) in both military- and civilian aviation radio communications. This usage comes from the initial R of received: R was called Roger in then-current radio alphabets such as the Joint Army/Navy Phonetic Alphabet. It is commonly followed by the word that to form "Roger That". It is also often shortened in writing to "rgr". R is Romeo in the modern NATO phonetic alphabet; the updated phrases now in use are, for example, "I'll Romeo that" or "Romeo and Out".
Contrary to popular belief, Roger does not mean "I will comply". That distinction goes to the acronym wilco, a contraction of the phrase "will comply"

Oh yeah, got a bit of rain yesterday, but it did get up to almost 60 degrees. Mid December and I contemplated taking my shirt off during my run...The cold will be hammering us soon.
I have Apnea and sleep with a CPAP machine. I woke up this morning gasping and unable to breathe. Sometime in the night the power went off. No power, no air pressure to help me sleep. Don't know what the time was because the clock died too.
I got dressed, headed to work and found a service truck outside the neighborhood. They said there are 3 phases going into the neighborhood and 2 are good, 1 is down so everyone on that one phase is without power. That explains why my neighbor had power and I didn't. I thought I had forgotten to pay the bill this month.
I also discovered the flaw in my gas fired, 98% condensing, tank-less water heater. It needs a fan to help the condensation cool the exhaust. No power, no hot water even though it is gas fired.
No rain in the forecast. I'll be glad when my prostate heals enough to allow me to get back to work on my truck. Then I'll actually have some real news to report.

Ain't technology wonderful?! Just curious, have you gotten scalded yet?
No scalding yet. The shower is temp regulated with no scald feature. Faucets do get pretty hot but not that hot yet. I love the tankless heater. I can run the washing machine, diswasher and both showers and do not run out of hot water.
I installed my mom's Tankless back in about 2001. She loves it so much when it stopped working we installed another one this year.... Prices have come down... I haven't heard how the electric ones work but the gas ones sure do the job nicely... and they have been in Europe for a long time.... If I find out the electric ones are any good I will replace our tank one when it takes a dump...

When I was in Germany back in the 70's almost all the water heaters in the houses were either tankless or a 5gal electric guick heat types - I almost put one last year but my wife didn't want one - If I had waited 3 months it would have been installed.
It's still raining on my F1 and F2 Ford Trucks and I haven't heard any crickets
