Edit: might actually be even cheaper for kit if you just purchase adapter bearing sleeve and not bearing kit as if you use original d60 carrier they wouldn't be needed. Jana 76 can use a d70 carrier as well..

Kodiak D70's are indeed HP, not too common and $$$ though.

Don't some of thoes front axles out of heavy trucks rotate the wrong direction, meaning u have to use the transfer case out of the vehicle it came from because the "standard" case will spin it backwards?

the only one i've heard about like that was some old odd ball .mil vehicle. strong axles, but the t-cases are few and far between if you break them.

Hmmm, wonder what the hell I'm thinkin than. I could have swor it was some 2 1/2 ton Ford/Chevy trucks..... Guess they would be a heavier axle than a D70 anyways..

sounds like whatever it was, was a chevy 2.5 ton, but what model or years i don't know. it was old though. lot of bad info in all the stuff i'm finding.

I was thinking the reverse rotating axle deal was the gmc kodiak and top kick 4wd trucks. I have been wrong a time or two before though.

The reverse rotation axle was the early GMC deuce and a half, 40-45 I believe.
