Foil Delete: removing the crappy looking insulating foil from the hot side IC pipe on the driver side (between the turbo and IC) - let's you hear more tubro whistle, looks cleaner, but also removes insulation which is supposed to help protect the incoming air to the IC from soaking up engine heat.
CCV: Reroutes the crnkcase vent line from the turbo intake to ambient conditions - eliminates oily residue from inside the turboand hot side IC tube and IC, which then helps prevent blowing off your IC boots. Some people include a trap to catch oily condensation, others don't. Do NOT inject into the exhaust system!
AIH Delete: Removes the air Intake Heater element from the air intake system on the cold side of the spider - eliminates an airflow restriction and is typically never needed unless you idle for long periods in very cold climates.
All you have to do is tell me when to write the check, Clay... I've been on pins and needles so long that the stiff ones are embedded and the flimsy ones have bent over!!
Ok Clay, before I whip out the ol' credit card, what is this CCK you speak of?
"CCK is a simple way to eliminate the deadhead fuel starvation issue. The #8 injector is at the end of the fuel rail and follows #6 in the firing order. The effect is that #8 is starved for fuel. And to compound this, because the rails are a deadhead, any air that gets in the fuel system has to go through the injectors. This kit will cross connect the two normally plugged fuel ports by cylinders 1 and 8 equalizing the fuel pressure between the two fuel rails and effectively putting #8 in the middle of the fuel rail, not at the end. That fixes the fuel starvation issue. Then in the middle of the cross connect is a tie in to the return line through a .016 orifice that allows a minute(less than a gallon per hour) amount of fuel to pass through, and any air caught in the fuel rails."
I've talked with Clay about the system design details, and he has an excellent design concept built into this kit that is clean and simple from an installation standpoint...
... and I have a vehicle that begs me for this kit every day when I walk past it. It's tired of the clattering it makes and wants to live a quieter and more balanced life. I keep telling it, every day... "I have your solution picked out, and am just waiting for Clay to let me order it!"
