Right.. The harness is female, the bulb and your upgrade harness are male..

The harness plugs into the harness the same as a headlight bulb.

Exactly, you'd pull the headlight out of the trucks harness connector then plug in your pictured add on harness into that same connector you just unplugged the headlight from.

That is why that one connector is male so it will plug in where the head light plugged in.

Everyone likes a relay harness.
It makes things much easier on the dashboard harness too...

The RJM wiring is defintely heavier gauge than the LMC one. It is more expensive though. The LMC one is better than not having one at all.

RJM harness
Large 12G wire.
Will easily power 130 watt bulbs or larger.

Will our headlights handle a 130 watt bulb without melting? Lol

I have 4000k HIDs and they came with a new harness to pull power directly from the battery. They work amazingly well and are bright as the sun... white light that is. The new harness was very simple to do and the ballasts are tiny. Paid 75$ for it all and lifetime replacements on the bulbs.

The price of the harness and 80w bulbs would be close to the price of a full hid kit. Not to mention higher wattage filament bulbs have maybe a year life span.
