Exclamation HELP lots of white smoke

I have an 04 f350. The other day It started to idle rough and produce a lot of white smoke. once past idle it runs fine and when i let off the pedal it has one large puff of white smoke. I checked it with AI no trouble code. Talked a tech he said it was the ERG so I got a delete kit and its still doing it. its not using water as far as i can tell. Could it be an injector O-ring?

Im racking my brain trying to find out what it is...

What does the smoke smell like. If it smell like coolant than you have a blown egr cooler or head gaskets. If it doesn't, then I would suspect that it's unburnt fuel. Either way, I wouldn't drive the truck like that.

If you have access to an AE, you need to do a contribution/balance test to see if you've got a weak injector that could be dumping fuel. If it was your EGR cooler, hope you changed the oil cooler as well. But knowing what the smoke smells like would help narrow it down.

He posted he already deleted it. If it is headgaskets...he should be puking out the degas bottle (if it isn't cracked somewhere).

sounds like an underfuel contion. possibly caused by exhaust gas in the fuel rail
