I'm replacing the springs on my F-250LD and the axle rolled off the jack. While I was plenty amused at the whole mishap it seems it popped loose a hose that is connected at a junction with the brake line. The end is dirty so it may not have plugged into anything but if it does, I'd like to know where because I can't see where it was connected.
You are looking at the wrong vent, the vent pictured above is not linked to the breaks hydraulic system in any way shape or form. (Are you sure it's break fluid that's even leaking?) Chances are is that you broke a break line. Can you give a better description of the problem.
I was wrong, it wasn't the brake line. It was attached to the tee fitting for the brake line but not connected to it. Makes more sense to be the axle vent. Thank you all.
