Best way to tell is to get some gaskets and bolt it up; since you have all the parts. If you don't like it you can change back.

If you have a automatic the only real fitment issue would be the kickdown linkage.

You can use a rubber fuel line till you decide and the throttle linkage should be close; you might need to adapt a linkage pin onto the carb throttle arm.

The choke can be just electric for testing.

My guess is that with the Qjet on the 2 to 4 adapter it will help your performance from stock, as the Qjet will only flow what is demanded of it... Qjets are optimized for each specific engine size, Find one was used on a similar engine size or larger and you should have a good start... I custom built one for my application, a 390... but with a 4 hole adapter to a 4 barrel manifold... Which would be the better manifold for your app.. over the 2 to 4 adapter...

I used Doug Roes book and Cliff Ruggels Book and Parts... and all I can say is WoW.....

Cliffs High Performance Quadrajets :: Qjet Carburetor Rebuilding Book

Ram Air helps as well....

Ended up using one of these with the correct height base plate... and with 4 inch dryer duct hose routed to the outer corners of the engine bay just over the front radiator support edges, held on with tie wraps and a slight hood pressure... lol....

Ram Air Box

This one can be sealed water tight for underwater apps... Didn't set right in my engine bay so I used it on another car of mine where it fit perfect

Schmidt Motor Works Ram Air Cleaner

and then there is always Spectra...

I know that feeling... Take your time... Light swimming, floating in the water, then the jacuzzi, and then the steam room have always helped me work the kinks out, then sweet 'ol time, to let the muscles mend......

Do it when your ready...... Make's it a lot more enjoyable test when your feeling well...
