Can anyone tell me what is needed to change my 79 f250 with a 400 from a manual choke back to the automatic set up? The p/o changed out the choke and put a manual one on it and I'd like to change it back, but I'm not sure what all is replaced when a manual one is put on. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

You need the heat tube coming from the exhaust manifold. The black cap and coil along with the correct wire connected for the heated element.

I needed to subscribe to this. I need to know where I can get that heater tube at, broke mine doing some maintenance. I'll try to check up from time to time but not sure how to find this thread again.

There is a replacement tube kit at the autoparts store, try napa. You're in texas, you might find a good one in a wrecking yard. That way you can get the part in the intake also.
