I really appreciate the info. Perhaps in a few weeks once I pay for the repair work on the Beetle I can look into getting one of these. My Mom's boyfriend is a Dodge guy...maybe he has one laying around in the back I can use for mock up purposes or a good one I can give this a shot with.

It is possible to run a shroud without taking up too much space. My shroud sits about 1/4" from the fins of the radiator and the electric fan is attached to the shroud. Thr shroud covers the entire radiator. Check out my gallery for pics of my radiator, shroud, and fan.

I will check into that Herbiehusker...I just don't see how I can fit much of anything in there. Maybe I am looking at it wrong.
