This is crew cab number 2. I scrapped the first one to build a supercab truck, but i wheeled the crap out of it and the body began to rust and was smashed to hell. so i decided i needed a new daily driver. so picked this truck up. 79' crewcab dana 44/60 axles, 400m built c6/205. pretty decent over, needs a couple things but the price was good and makes a nice daily.
First, needs to remove the front bumper. Clean up some wiring, and the interior a bit. body is solid, zero rust. bed has a dent in the back corner not to bad though. for the price im happy, runs great and drives good. missed having 4 doors!
thanks guys. this is my 2nd crew cab. i scrapped the first one, and then decided i wanted another haha.
Plans are to:
remove the front bumper. probably go back stock or build one
fix a couple dings, nothing major.
probably repaint it
clean the interior, repaint the dashboard and fix the door panels. they are loose
just do some minor work. clean some wiring. basically just building a daily driver. Not going to do a full restore, try to keep to a decent budget nothing fancy.
engine bay. bit dirty, and has some wires running all over. But motor is a 400/c6 edelbrock intake, carb. ford racing valve covers. bored .030"msd disributor, msd 6a ignition. headers, and full exhaust with glasspacks.
Plan to clean up the wiring a bit, and move the msd box. probably power wash the motor off as well. But overall its in good condition.
heres the one dent in the box, looks like i can pull it out. doesnt seem to bad. Overall plans are to just clean it up real nice, and just fix up some of the previous owners "modifications"
