On my 98 expedition I went to roll the pass. rear window down and it went down about 3 inches and that was it. I heard a sound when it stopped so not wanting to break anything, I took the door skin off and could see the window was not connected to the piece ( not sure what it is called). What is the best way to connect them back and is there anything i can do to prevent another seperation.
Same thing happend to me on my 98 navi, I cleaned the bottom rail where the window rest's with a wire brush and glued the window to the rail it rests on. I think thats the way window installers do it. Havnt had a problem with it in 2 years or so.
Thanks for allwho responded, I got the window fixed and should not have another issue. As for my childs locks, lol I am not the one that was having problems with them, mine work just fine.
