I was gonna attempt to help you with your vin #, but I'm not sure about this. Vin# is a 11 digit number which is also known as the serial number for the vechile, at least that's what I thought ...Got me, I thought they started with the letter ( F )....sorry.....

First off, welcome aboard. Secondly, we ned more ifo I believe. Where did you find this number? If the driver door is original, the information we need is on the the tag number there. Let us know what you are looking at.

I have a book - "Catalog of Ford Truck ID Numbers 1946-1972 Pickup and Ranchero" by Cars and Parts Magazine that is accurate for the most part.

D 352 V8
L Michigan Truck assembly plant
689639 consecutive unit number for May 1965
So you do have a '65

Yes welcome aboard, I'm sorry for not welcoming you, but like Mike G said we do need a little more info...some trucks have a tag on the firewall also...With a little more info you will have no promblem getting the answers you need, Once again Welcome aboard.....Good Luck.....
