i ordered the pertronix setup for my 68 f100 and have not recieved it yet. I did not order the flamethrower coil, it is 40,000 volts. Ihave a coil that is 65,000 volts (an ultra coil) Well the ultra coil is not the type you bolt to the block its the type you screw in the inner fender. Well the wires on the pertronix setup are only about 1 foot long, so it wont reach that long. instead of cutting them... which a dealer of pertronix said it would void the warrenty... i thought i might just bolt the coil to the power stearring braket thing... right by the distributor.. any of you have any other suggestions? Thanks

Do you have AC? If not find the AC braket that bolts to the head on the drivers side and mount the coil on top of it. It is a nice flat surface to mount things on.
