Removing Headliner

Does anyone know how hard it would be to remove a headliner in a 03 f150 extended cab? The only thing i'm concerned with is that center pillar that has the temp gauge in it. Has anyone ever taken one out and know how hard it is? i only actually need to bend it back approximately a foot or so. Thanks

You just have to remove all of the upper interior trim, not difficult at all. I took mine out and had it recovered. The roof console should just unscrew/unplug too. Mine doesn't have the roof console.

There is a phillips screw at the front of the overhead consol that needs to be removed. Gently pry the back of the consol off, is is held in with snaps.
