I replaced the sway bar bushing and end link bushing and still the same noise...i've pretty much isolated the noise to the driverside front wheel area...

Check your ball joints, wheel bearing and spring bushings.

Sounds like I have the same exact issue. I changed out my sway bar bushings and end links with the energy suspension stuff a few years ago. Changed out my upper and lower ball joints in February of this year and my drivers side front hub assembly a few months back. Still have the clunk. It drives me nuts.

I have the exact same problem and have also replaced sway bar end links and bushings, drag link, new hubs, and tie rods, spring shackles, and still have the clunk over bumps. Mine is also on the drivers side front wheel.

I figured it was a blown shock, but it sounds like that didn't fix it for you guys?

ok so i had this same problem in my old 1999 f250 v10. drove it for over one year. i finally got under it and started shaken from the sway bar. i notice the U bolts that hold the front axe were loose. no mechanics could figure it out cause when truck was on the lift the axle weighed down the u bolts.

i used a 2 ft breaker bar and tightened all the u bolts some of them were almost an inch loose. never made a noise again.

i was told that u bolts stretch.

You do realize that there is not supposed to be a bushing between the two leaves, right? There is only a bushing in the upper/inner leaf.

The Ubolts holding the leaf springs to the axles?

Maybe you don't know.........

Maybe you don't know what you know........
In your photo of the front spring hanger mount from the angle of the photo you can't see the spring eye bushing. On that end of the spring the top leaf has the bushing in it's eye and the second leaf has the air space shown in your photo as it wraps around the top leaf's eye. The bushing is only in the top leaf's eye, centered around the bolt thats in the top right of the photo, inside the mounting bracket. Nothing in that photo looks abnormal.
Not trying to bust your stones, just trying to help. My EX's frontend clunks also, I'm still looking.

Got the same problem with the clunk. It started in parking lots going over drainage ways and speed bumps (mostly when turning). Now its a couple months later and its ANY bump, turn or no turn. By the sound of it, you would think it would be really easy to find.
