Cold Start Check Engine Light
I have a 95 PSD F350 120,000 miles which runs great, This year I have replaced the glow plugs and put a Stancor GPR on. The truck fires up and starts fine in cold weather except for the fact that you will hear something switch off and it becomes very loud and clacky (is that a word) and the check engine light will come on. Once it warms up the light will go off and drive fine but while the light is on it is very loud, clacky, not smooth and drives like crap. It has a new oil and fuel pump on.
Any idea what this is?
