Replacements can be had at the dealer ($$$, but not too bad actually) or a bone yard. The nice thing about new ones is that they haven't hardened up like the old ones oftentimes do.

Ed did a GREAT job on my FICM.
He also accommodated me and my working truck, because if she does not run I don't earn.
I set it out to him overnight on Wed. afternoon and I had it back in my truck last night ( Sat ).
My truck is running so good now.

Thank you SO MUCH Ed,
Andy

All I'm trying to do is take care of people, one at a time, at a fair price. You guys are all top shelf.

I'm happy to be affiliated with you, making so many new friends along the way.

All the best to you and yours this Christmas Season,

Ed

Maybe I should just do the 48v unit.
I would play it safe if you have stock injectors. The 58v may shorten their life.

Yes there are after market injectors. Ive heard both positive and negative changing to a higher output injector. I decided to go with Ford OEM. I had 4 bad with 173000 miles. While in there I decided to replace all 8.
That being said Im not a Senior Ford Tech. I would research and ask several experienced Ford diesel techs their advise before making a decision. Injector cost about 250 ea.

No there isn't. Actually there's only one injector OEM manufacturer but there are a lot of rebuilders out there. Only OEM uses new spool valves.

i had mine by ed and it was quick ,awesome service.
it was june 2012. last night it dropped to 45 on startup, guess itstime again. I had actually thought of the higher volt mod hoping to have it last longer this time.
Ed@ficmrepair.com can it be reapired again?

45 is still OK. Check your batteries and charging system.
