Checking glowplugs?
Checking glowplugs?
Someone have a link to procedure how to check the glow plugs? I had done it last year, checking the pins in the plug ins, but can't find the procedure now. Thank you.
Fortunately I just got done searching this myself while looking for a problem on my truck.
1.) Unplug the wiring harness from the valve cover
2.) use your multimeter with negative to battery ground and positive to check the 1st and last 2 pins in each valve cover connecter for OHMS, these go to the GP's.
3.) Ohms should be around 1-2 ohms. If they are near/in this range, they're good!
