I think that you will find that most people on this website and many others run with MBRP 4" turbo back exhaust systems. If and when I find the $500 thats what I will buy.

4" Turbo back MBRP is what I put on mine, really like it. Pretty easy to install and fits very well. On the intake I went with the 6637 filter conversion. Gives a huge amount of filter area.

4" Turbo Back

I just purchased a Diamond Eye 4" turbo back for $235(cyber monday deal). Haven't installed it yet so the jury's still out on that. Couldn't find any negative comments on the net about DE before purchasing. Will update once the install is done.

I have a Magnaflow SS 4" turbo back and an AIS intake. I'm more than satisfied with both.

I used bad clamps for the exhaust instead of the u-bolt clamps that it came with.

I have the Diamond Eye system & have no complaints. Price was certainly decent. Everything fit OK but it was a struggle to keep it from contacting my B&W turnover hitch. Had to do a little massaging.

I got them from Rock Auto.

They don't deform the the pipes like the u-bolt clamps and that makes it easier to take the exhaust off. That was a plus after I blew the TN turbo. I had pumped 7 qts of oil through the exhaust and had to clean it out.

Why wait for $500? You can get a 4" for just over $300 with free shipping: Riffraff Diesel: MBRP 4" Turbo Back Aluminized

Ditto...and it's not like you're living in the Northeast where they salt the roads for a 1/3rd of the year. I'm still on my OEM aluminized exhaust on "HERS," with the exception of the muffler being replaced by a Walker BTM. I bought the MBRP 4" aluminized for an F250 CC I had for 6 months, and it looked like it would last plenty long in the Southern or Western U.S.

I'm sure you would realize this but any u-bolt clamps that have an integrated hanger can be installed over a band clamp.

Edit: I shoud have added or either side of a band clamp The u-bolt clamp may not fit OVER a band clamp.

Thanks Robin. I'll have to wait to get the exhaust to see how many clamps I need. Its a CC LB.
