Yes it was, but the company is a call center company, so I might be providing support for cell phones, or DVD players or something, it depends on the company that contracts with them. I provided tech support for a major computer company, while I was there the last time, but they have added other companies to the list, and if they need 200 peeps by the end of January, then it means they have landed yet another big company.
Would be nice to talk to someone in a call center on this side of the world.
You would be surprised (well, maybe not) how many people said that once they found out I was located in Fresno. Well, Clovis actually, but most people don't know where that is, so I would say Fresno. Unless I was working for one company which insisted that all techs tell the customer we were in Irvine, California because that's where their HQ was.
When I just bought an Alienware computer from Dell this year it (order) got messed up and I think I paid for 5 when I only wanted one. Anyway after numerous phone calls with Ranjit and Punjab I requested to be connected back in the U S A and was finally satisfied. Amazingly all the money was back in my acct but didnt know if I had a comp coming or not. On the 16th it came and on same day there went my money again. All happy now.
Sorry for long story, blah blah
I am glad you were able to get your money back, and finally got the computer hank, I know how frustrating that can be. I even know how the person at the call center feels when the company screws up and he has to listen to the customer rant about it.
