bogging down momentarily when given gas
it bogs down when given gas from being at idle. it has stalled a number of times because of this, but hasn't stalled in a while now cause i know to just keep the gas pedal depressed until it roars.
it usually only bogs for a second then revs just fine as i change gears and what not, until i come to idle again.
when it does stall from this it's hard to start again. gotta just keep the starter working away and sort of pump gas in until it starts going and then keep it at high revs for a bit.
Also, it only does this when its still cold; once its been running for a while it works fine.
any ideas?

Might be helpful to know which V6 you have, the 3.0L Vulcan, or the 4.0L Cologne engine. When you say "standard" are you saying it's a manual tranny????
Several things come to mind that can cause your kind of problem, like a faulty TPS, whos output value to the computer doesn't change when the throttle begins to open, so the computer doesn't know the throttle has moved & the air fuel ratio suddenly goes dead lean, causing the engine to stumble or stall. A dirty MAF sensor, thats slow to respond to air flow change when you mash the gas, a fuel pressure or flow/volume problem, like from a weak pump, faulty fuel pressure regulator, bad vacuum line to it, or a clogged fuel filter. So a fuel pressure & flow volume check would be in order.
Any mods to this engine, like has the air intake system been changed, are you using an oiled foam or cotton gauze type air filter?????
Right now with the info given, I'd probably put the TPS high up on your suspect list.
We need some more clues to make a more focused guess, so as has been said more info, like where you are on all past & present due scheduled maintenance, do you have a CEL lit & if so, post All of the trouble code Numbers the computer has stored, would be useful info in helping us assist you in thinking your problem through.
