Power Steering Options
Truck specs: 76' F15 2wd 390/C6/9in
I'm at the steering pump portion of my "Things To Tidy Up" when the motor is installed work sheet.
Before I buy a new or rebuilt "old" pump, are there any other pump options for us to use that work with our plumming and steering gear. I have all new suspension and steering components installed and I would pefer to have an "updated" pump if I can to compliment the build. I've searched around a bit but keep reading threads on 4x4's not 2wd's.

No, unless you want a nice conversation piece. I like the all metal Thompson pumps, not too fond of the plastic versions.
If yours in going South it would make a nice upgrade. Otherwise, we can't spend your money, ya know? Upgrade now, upgrade later, or just keep what it came with.
