MFI to EFI

Hi im swaping out my 2002 supercrew 4.6 2 wheel drive windsor that is MFI with a motor out of a 97 expedition 4.6 windsor with EFI will i have to change anything what is the diffrance i hope its just plug and play Thank you for your help im new to the forums!

All mod motors are multiport fuel injection. You could also call it electronic if you want. To swap these motors you are going from a PI motor to a non PI motor so you will have to re use the old intake.

Also, neither of your motors are Windsors. They are both modular engines. Just swap anything you need from one engine to the other.

The windsor he is referring to is the plant it came out of, Windsor, ON or Romeo, MI. see here:
