Hey guys, I am needing to install a set of step bars on my truck. I just added a 2" lift and 315 tires but it sure makes it hard to get in. The last thing I want is to be having steering column problems. Are there any down sides to using the Dee Zee 3" tube bars. Also, I took all of my chrome emblems off when we did the wrap and printed where the emblem was. I was thinking of going with black, or would it look better in chrome? Here are the ones I'm talking abouthttp://www.deezee.com/product_images/product_photo-medium_image-43-0-372x.jpg
Thanks, Tony,
I personally would go with the black, as you don't have any chrome on your truck plus its cheaper. That and I don't see the finish on these bars lasting, so black is easy to paint match and blend.
I know Summitracing had Westin bars for sale with free shipping and were about the same price. I'd go Westin over Dee-zee if the sale is still going on. ( my comp wont load summits page currently so i have no idea)
