take them off, sell them on EBAY and buy yourself the www.ampresearch.com
power steps!!!
otherwise, get the N FAB two-or three step bars.
that is what I have on my truck!
well if you get steps make sure they are constructed of some kind of metal or similar material. i bought my truck with plastic steps and snapped the passenger side off-roading. i was sliding sideways through a leveled construction site that was nothing but mud and came to a VERY sudden stop which threw me into my girlfriend and squashed her into the passenger door (forgot to put on seatbelt after locking hubs, she reminds me every time now, lol). there was a very bad rut that i could not see.
Yes, the AMP research steps do seem ridiculously overpriced, but they have no competition right now. I think someone said that Truck Toyz does sell them a bit cheaper, but still probably nowhere near as cheap as the factory or standard aftermarket ones.
I personally think if you are lifting your truck 6" you are going to want the steps even though it looks better without. I've already had a few ladies have a hard time getting in my truck, and that's with a 4.5" lift and I still have the steps. (I usually don't mind helping them in though )

well dam im 6ft 4 and i got the oem chrome runners on mine. and without them i have a hard time getting in and out. so i would leave them espcially with a lift or something.
The one thing I like about my tubular steps (el-cheapo ebay) is that people parked next to me don't hit the body of the truck with their doors - they hit the steps.
