Locating Chrome Nerf Bars
a set of Smittybuilt or comparable chrome nerf bars for a 91 Bronco. Guys, help me out here, I've looked all over and nobody has 'em in stock. Smittybuilt discontinued them, so they can't be ordered. Does anyone know of a place that has them in stock? Or does anyone know of a comparable product I could search for? Want at least a 3" tube, (4" would be cool too), WITHOUT the black rubber steps. Help a fellow Ford freak out here!

Thanks, but actually that's where I originally placed the order. They don't keep them in stock, but rather order from the manufacturer. Tried the nerf bars, then the modular chrome step bars, both discontinued.
By the way, why did the mods change the thread title? It wasn't in anyway offensive or anything, what's up?

Its FTE policy to default almost all links to the website that helps pay for FTE (motorhaven.com). I agree with the fact that we should support the site, but sometimes links are changed even if motorhaven doesnt carry such a product...which can be a pain. Have you checked out ebay yet for bars? I think I ordered my MAAP from summit racing years ago. They might have stuff too.

Get any bars you like and have them powdercoated in chrome. It's a lot cheaper than real chrome plating, and if you can't find anyone to do it, e-mail me. I live a few houses from the guy who runs one of the biggest plants in the country and he does little jobs like that for me really cheap (but not necessarily quick
