Iam just curious as to why so many are against the k&n and so to go with a 6637 filter. I havent had any issue with my k&n but I'd like to hear more and prevent any future damage.
The K&N let's dust and dirt trough and it sand blast the compressed wheel in the turbo then gets on the piston and rings and slowly eats at the cylinders. A $50.00 fter can cost you hundreds or thousands.

I ran the k&n before I found this site for many years. Once I found this site and found out what can happen, I pulled my intake and found my wheel to be dusted pretty bad, so a turbo rebuild, new wheel, and 6637 went on.
