2008 F250 no rear sway bar?
I've recently notice that my truck is so far the only one I've seen with no rear sway bar. I bought it new and thought all these trucks come standard with them. Is this not the case? If some came without then why and was it an option or something? My truck doesn't handle nearly as well as my friends and were both factory set up even down to tire size. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

Get a Hellwig. Full 1 1/4" bar, easy to install once you throw away thier directions, cost comparable to factory bar but with better hardware and poly bushings.

I went from no bar to the hellwig and the difference is amazing. No sway at all even when towing heavy. With the right tire/wheel combo (-12mm offset works nice on 2wd SDs) and a bilstein steering stabilizer with KYB gas a justs @ ea corner, this thing sticks like glue...and lasts, did these mods about 65k ago.

Ok Senix thanks. So why would anyone not want better handling? Not speaking to you specifically but I'm surprised why ford would leave this off. Honestly when I bought my truck I just figured big trucks drove that way. I mean I had to drive alot slower in turns etc. Then Im in my buddies with factory sway bar and I can't believe how much better his truck handles on curvey roads. I'm guessing towing heavy loads will be better too. Anyway thanks for everyones post and I'm going to buy a hellwig this week.
