I got roughly the same kit (header version) and I thought it was ok. You kinda get what you pay for, cheap functional exhaust setup. I've bought other aftermarket exhaust setups from other companies for my mustang that seemed much higher quality but this is a much larger setup for about half the price. I can't really remember, but I'm not sure there are any other kits out there...
I was looking at kits like these for my truck, but once I added the price of shipping to Alaska, it just made more sense to take it to a shop and have it done professionally. I'm hoping to be ready for the exhaust in February.
I'd honestly just buy the mufflers separate and go to a quality exhaust shop. I'd also spend the money and buy headers if I were you, but that's me. When I did my exhaust on my 75 F100 4x4, I bought headers and mufflers, and went to an exhaust shop (headers I put on myself) and had them install the pipes (true dual). All of that totaled just over $300, and it was well worth it!

You got a smokin' deal. I have more than that tied up in mufflers, tips and headers. They want between $500-$550 just to run the pipes up here. The lowest quote I got was around $425, but I do not trust that shop.
The header kit was the first exhaust I bought for my truck (78 F150 4x4) and it fit great but only got 4 yrs out of it, its not aluminized or coated tubing. I live in PA so the winters were probably hard on it. But I liked the way it fit so much when I made my stainless exhaust, I copied right off of it. On my truck the pipes came down on the engine side of the front driveshaft and crossover to the pass side, so both pipes run down the pass side of frame. What for truck are you putting it on, and I agree get the headers at the same time that will make the difference.

The headers were the flotechs for the 390-$169.95, the mufflers were thrush welded (flow 40)-$32.95e, and the pipes bent and put on came to $64 and some odd cents. The $64 shows because the pipes (bent down and go under the crossmember how i wanted them) aren't bent the same, and is far from show quality exhaust wise. But it's a mud truck so i didn't care too much
The ease of the routing all depends on if you have stock manifolds/chassis or fenderwell exit headers. You got headers right?
With stock exhaust manifolds the muffler shop better be pretty good to get it around the xfer case/crossmember and maintain true duels.
With chassis exit the right hand pipe can (as an option) go beside the xfer case and above the crossmember, the left hand is a little tricky to keep tucked up close to the frame. I think you can get both above the crossmember? I have had only 1 F150 with chassis exits and that was quite a while back.
Fenderwell exit are a snap to add a muffler and a little pipe with a 45 or 90 on the end in front of the tire. Less to bend up over the rear axle and less to buy ='s $$ saved.
The only issue is if you add some rock sliders and attach them to the frame, but if the pipes are all inside the frame you are good to go.
If that kit is still made the same, here's how the pipes will run. The rest of my exhaust I made a cone y-pipe just after the cross member you see in the 2nd pic to convert over to single 3" for the oxy sensor to the fuel inj. the rest of the way out the back. That one will jump the dvr side exhaust back over and exit them behind the rear wheels. I did piece my exhaust together with elbow and straight sections of tube.
