It's more like 12 quarts ...... I could be wrong though....but like 6 quarts in then start the truck for like 20 seconds and turn off and then put the rest in ....

From what I've read the torque converter holds about as much as the transmission pan.
I figure I won't mess with it, and will have it flushed, to hopefully free up any contaminants.
I could simply drain and refill, but I want all the nooks and crannies cleaned out if possible.
