Do you have firewall issues?
I have been slowly working on an F150 swapping it from auto to manual..
It just so happens that I have the truck pushed off my alley in front of the cab from my ext cab and i was in and out of that looking at a few things and happened to notice this....
This is the cab from my 88 F250 Ext Cab Diesel. It did not have the large firewall reinforcement bracket installed. It did have the small bracket for the 87-91 trucks, which is nothing more then a half circle of stamped steel with 2 holes. it really doesn't do anything for support and that's why i refuse to replicate it.
So if you have a hydraulic clutch and it feels like its not engaging correctly or the pedal feels squishsy or perhaps it wont bleed...make sure you look closely at your firewall.
