Superchips Tuner
Are the superchips tuners any good for this truck?....a buddy of mine is selling his 09 f250 and said i can have his tuner for free.... are they any good? safe for the transmission?....thanks for any input!!

I wouldn't run it in my truck. Does it offer a DPF Delete option? The problem with tuners that don't delete the DPF, (other than Banks) they tend to generate more soot and exhaust which cause more regens which ultimately shortens the life of your DPF.

I had the superchips 1856 race tuner in
My 2008 6.4L & hated the 3rd & 4th gear upshifts
I sold it & purchased the GEAR BOX Z DPF-R which retains
All stock settings & ONLY Deletes the DPF Filter.
I didn't want or need the HP settings or all them
Un-needed bells & whistles

Better off selling it and getting something else. No telling whether you will get support on it later as Superchips/Edge are no longer selling the race tuners from the factory. It's possible they will no longer support them either.
