hey can anyone help me with a couple of problems w/my 1990 f350 dualley 4 speed 7.3! i have to mash the clutch down to get it to start if i just push down on clutch with lite pressure i get nothing......is ther some sort of safety switch on a manual? second problem my abs rear light came on and my cruise stop working at the same time! i replaced the rear sensor but no joy anyone help me out........thanks barry

There is a clutch interlock safety switch. Look under the dash at the clutch pedal linkage and you should see it. Maybe jump the two wires for now to bypass it. While under the dash check that the pedal bushings are good. Also check for flexing/cracking of the firewall around the master cyl.
For the other issue check that your brake lights are working properly.
