I was recently informed that all factory window tint is only a dye infused into the glass and offers no UV or heat protection to the cab interior or the passengers.
FMC customer service (?) was unable to provide any useful information in regard to their own vehicles. So here I am, hoping that someone has the definitive technical information that will answer this query.

This would be better answered by your local carlite glass dealer or Carlite dirrectly because they are the supplier of Ford's OEM Glass.
