Seatbelt Not Widing Correctly

Since I bought my truck the seatbelt has never wound very well, it will not wind by itself at all, I always need to push the belt up to feed it as it winds. Is there a way to help this coil more on its own, or does it just need to be replaced?

Yeah this is a problem in pretty much all the super dutys... its a pain. usually i just leave it hanging there because it gets old pushing it back up

Spray them with silicone.
That's what i have done and it works for awhile then you will have to reapply.

With advise from other posts I pulled my seat belt out all the way and cleaned all the crude out of the mechanism. I then lube it (with silicon) and the belt itself (with interior polish such as Armor All, ect) and it seems to be working pretty well.
