Rear drum brake hell

This past weekend I changed my wheel cylinders. I was able to get everything back together except the E Brake adjustment bracket thingy back on, every time I put the adjuster thing back on the shoe and ran the cable around that, it would fall off. What am I doing wrong?

I did some messing around and right now I have the E brake pedal on just a little to get the right tension so my braking is normal.

That holds the cable for the self adjuster , one of the main shoe springs holds it on , spring on first , then cable...

Yep, put the eye on the end of the aadjuster cable over the anchor pin, then the guide goes in the hole in the shoe and the rear return spring goes through the guide and holds it in place.
