Ok this is going to be a stupid question, but what is the difference between swcc and dwcc. I have a 96' dually and I get about 14-16 pulling my trailer and trust me I'm happy with that. I see the guys with swcc get way better, other then having the two extra tires is thier another difference between the two or does those two extra tires really make that much difference. Compared to my ol GMC with a 454 this truck gets way better mpg's

sorry should have looked over the hole post.. lol i get get 20 with myn not pulling pulling iam around 16.5 17 just depends what i have on it and the day you no.... also my spedo is off do to the tires i run so may be a little better, dp and exaust and giveing it air and fuel keeping rpms around 2 gran works the best
I never realized that two extra tires would make that big of a difference.
I guess I've of my problems it's most of the time I'm puking my trailer around town and my rpms start low, but lugging allot.
Not to change the subject, but would a tuner help with power st lower rpms?
When mine was still a dually I was getting between 15-18 unloaded.
When I drove from NC to CA with my truck how it is in my sig now towing my wife's car and with 2,000 pounds in the bed I got about 14 driving 70mph the whole way.
