Tailgate question

The tailgate on my 53 f100 has a bow in it. I believe it is making one the stock outside latch to be hard to get undone and the other one too loose. Is there an easy way of straightening it?

No body work expert, but 35 years messing about with old fords. I fixed mine by opening it up, putting a sawhorse under the corner that is tight and just bearing down on the opposite corner. A couple of good umphs and keep testing it. Worked for me and took about 3 minutes.
