Just tested my FICM and I have 45.5 volts when truck is running and 47.7 volts just with the ignition turned on. Are these readings ok and would this cause my problems? FYI I also have a scangaugeII on order and will be here on the 13th.
Did you check the FICM volts whem the truck was cold say after a 12 hour sit
I beleive the cutoff for the ficm volts is 45 volts anything less and may cause problems
you could try and soilder it and see if that may help
If you would rather send it out Due to your Finacal situation I would hold off till you get your ScanGauge and make shure nothing eles sticks out
Sorrey to hear about your wife things will get better they have come along way in that Medical world
So should I check ficm V after I get it to Normal operating temp? Yes it was sat for 2 days before I checked volts. Does scangaugeII monitor ficm volts or is it better to use a volt meter? Thanks for the kind words Benny. All we can do is buy her a little more time at this point. Thanks you for the help.
Hey guys, I've got my scangaugeII and I still am showing no codes. Can anyone tell me what gauges I need to check and what they should be reading to try and figure out where my problem may be at? Thank you
Use these values for CKP/CMP sync. There are several posts out there which indicate the RXD: 3000 or 3001. Those values did not work for me.
FICM SYC
Crankshaft Position Sensor
Camshaft Position Sensor
TXD: 07E02209CD
RXF: 0462050906CD
RXD: 3601

Hey guys, what kind of readings should I be getting for these?
ICP
Ipr
Icv
My oil and coolant temps look good. My ipr ranges anywhere from 19 to 36. My IcP from 584 to 913 and ICV .93. Should I check these at a specific speed? My FVP code isn't workin either.
Thank you in advance

I have been comparing my readings to these values. Mine do vary a bit, but are within the range posted. Keep a log book and write down your readings at startup and when the engine is warmed up.
Did u ever figure out what was wrong with your truck? I'm still having problems with mine.
No I haven't. I am not getting any other codes other than the EGR due to the delete. I have checked everything on the engine except the injectors. I ordered the Autoenginuity bundle yesterday. I figured towing it to a shop ($70) and diagnosing fee ($100) and towing it home ($70), I would have almost paid for the software. Hopefully AE will help resolve my problems. I will post updates next week.
