Jimmi-Jammers, good alarm and a Cyclops system. Best there is under the circumstances. Otherwise, just leave your door unlocked and the keys in the ignition.
I usually leave my truck unlocked and nothing in it. I leave all my vehicles unlocked as crooks do more damage getting in than what they make off with usually. Insurance takes care of the rest. I like the sounds of the feul pump toggle switch also.
Most insurance companies want to see evidence of a breakin, so if you DO leave your door open, some insurance companies won't pay if stolen or stuff stolen. The Jimmi-Jammers cost $40, the Cyclops cost $125 and a decent alarm around $200. For $365, is your truck and stuff inside worth it??
A coat hanger can easily be used to get into my truck. Ans like I said, I dont leave tings in there to take. I hear wayyyy too many stories about vehicle doors and or windows being toer up for the change in the cup holder. If a truck is stolen, it's usually fairly obvious.
Actually, a screwdriver and 5 seconds can get into your truck. Up the lock, twist, and you're in. For a mega-thousand dollar vehicle, Ford really sucks on this issue, and it has been going on for 12 years without a change, unbelievable.

Every manufacture has the same problems, its because everybody uses plastic handles.
I had the same thing just happen to me last week taking my GPS/DVD touch screen radio. They jacked my door handle up nicely. I found another handle same color so replaced it, but I also installed the Jimmi Jammer system in hopes to keep this from happening. I guess it could have been worse, as there were tons of higher dollar items they didnt take.....stupid thieves! lol
My friend has the new viper alarm in his truck.
It works with his android phone as a pager.
he can start and shut off, lock and unlock his truck from his phone. he can log on a computer and use a GPS tracker and see where his truck is on line at any time.
it's pricy.. i believe the total set up was around $600-$800 installed
