do i have to buy another fly wheel or can the springs be replaced or just leave it alone hasn,t slipped yet but can hrer some extra chatter on start up.

Replace it with a SMF if it comes apart there's a 99% chance you'll be buying a new trans it will destroy the bellhousin

confused

ford pride i,m not sure what you mean by smf . also this sucks cause i just put it back together with a new clutch kit.

Assuming the flywheel and clutch was converted.... and say the clutch is slipping.... can you just regrind the flywheel when a new clutch is put in? Or do you need to spend a freakin grand on flywheel and clutch... ha

if you have a SMF you should be able to have the flywheel turned and put a new clutch

can i get the rebuild parts for dmf through ford. aslo with the smf put in will it be tranfering that tourge to my trans and bust it.......

Either way, with a new clutch, it'll be doing it's job, which is transfering 100% of engine power to the trans. It won't kill your trans...haha
