Rancho Quick lift

I swore I was leaving my 2011 F150 4x4 stock but after using it in the mountains while hunting, I could use a little more clearance. The front air dam is pretty low and scrapes a lot. Has anyone tried the new Rancho quick lift coils and shocks? Looks like an easy install and levels the truck. I may even go the next step and get the RS9000 rear adjustable shocks too. I want to know if anyone has tried them yet. Let me know what you think if you have. I tow an 8000# trailer. Rancho Suspension: Shocks » quickLIFT™ Loaded

There are quite a few users here with them, most from the 04-08 model year though. The new system comes loaded with their spring, and from what I hear it rides nicely. The 9 adjustable settings help too, especially if you tow, so that you can set the rear to be a little stiff and still keep the front more plush.
If you find that too much sag happens when you tow, then I would suggest and air bag kit like the Ride Rite system from Firestone.

Yeah.. I had the Firestone Air ride bags on my F350. I liked them for leveling the bed while towing but it didn't do much to improve the ride (one reason I traded her in!!). I can see where it would help the F150 more but so far I absolutely don't need them. I hauled my trailer around all summer and see no need to spend the extra money. Just the adjustable rear shocks would be nice. Firm them up while towing and dial them back to stock when empty. I wonder if the leveling kit will effect my mileage? I know the lift kit on my F350 did (and 35's). The quick lift isn't much of a lift so I would think minimal and I would stick to stock size tires. After having my F350 altered it affected the performance in a negative way, I was bound and determined to leave this truck like Ford meant it to be.... until I saw the quick lift. I really don't like the drooping in front with stock set up BUT when I tow, the truck sits perfectly level. I'm not brighting everyone as I drive at night either. Decisions, decisions! Maybe with the new Extang Encore bed cover I would even out any mileage loss Getting that tomorrow.

The leveling kit probably wont show show a net loss in mileage...larger tires would. As for the bed cover...don't expect any mileage gains there...its pretty much a non factor with no gains.

Yep! I have a cover and a Bedrug mat...almost like a trunk of a car. I do get a touch of water in the bed in really heavy rains.

I just recently put on the rancho quicklift leveling struts on my 2004 Screw. I assume if you have shopped around for them you know you can get them where you reuse your coil springs and ones that are quickstruts with a new coil spring. I got the ones with a new coil spring which I think they call "quicklift loaded". I have been pleased with them, gave me 2" of lift which is pretty close to level. The pics on my avatar and sig are before the struts, I need to change those pics. Seem to ride very good, much better than factory. For your truck their website shows two different part numbers, 999935 for drivers side and 999911 for passenger side. I did not put them on the back. I still have the factory shocks on the rear of the truck. I am planning on upgrading to the rancho shocks for the rear next year sometime. Here's a link to their page for your truck.

If you do have issues with the truck squatting, one benefit of going with an air suspension like the Firestones or Air Lift is adjustability from within the cab.

If you are not always towing you may find adjusting the shocks frequently to be more of a nusence than you want. In the right situation they can improve ride but as you mentioned this isn't always the case.
