I am a member of 2 other diesel forums, not related to Fords or trucks for that matter. They will remain unnamed. Many of the questions and concerns presented have minimal responses or even go unanswered. However; I read a thread this morning on one of those "other" sites that was related to whether or not a guy should buy a Dodge Cummins; that thread had 11 pages of posts...
As for FTE on the other hand, folks are in many cases answering questions simultaneously with the same answers or suggestions. Its great to see willingness to help others successfully repair their trucks and save a lot of $$$$ in the process....
Yeah I need to update that. I figured out what my problem was. The tire shop only put 50lbs of preasure in my tires. They now have 75lbs as the door sticker suggests. I am now right at 15 mpg. I recently took a trip to Utah, and got 17mpg on one tank!! I think if I went with a less aggresive tread it would improve even more.
