I installed my edge cts on my 04 6.0 last night, and accidentally entered the wrong vin#. I keep my trailer reg in the glove box also. Does anyone know how I can go back and fix this? Thanks

What does your trailer reg in your glovebox have to do with the Edge CTS?

 

One the first steps on my cts was to enter the truck vin#. I keep my truck and trailer regs. in the glove box, and when i went to inter the vin i must of grabed the wrong reg and intered my trailer reg. And now I need to figure out how to change it back.

 

I have a CTS (with custom tunes from PHP) and I don't remember entering the VIN, but I have a 2009, so maybe it's different.

The best advice I can offer is to call or e-mail Edge.

I haven't heard of an Edge product that required you to enter in the VIN. That is information that it could easily get from the OBD-II port. However, I would put make a post in the 6.0 forum as well as I know quite a few of them are running the CTS.

 

I just got my edge evo cs tonight and it made me enter the vin.......
