I just found out that the cause of my high pressure oil leak was from the left side injectors. I'm gonna replace all four. I've heard once some go out that they all could. What do y'all think on this?
That sounds kinda odd that the injectors are causing the high press oil leak. Who told you this?
I have it at a mechanics shop. He checked the hpop and it was fine, and teh icp valve, which was fine. So he checked the left side of the injectors and he said thats where it was.
So you're looking at spending $1000+ or so for 4 injectors to fix a bad o-ring? If the injector itself is actually bad, I would replace 1 injector. If it's the o-ring, I would replace all of the o-rings and call it a day.

I agree, if it's just leaking HPO...replace all four sets of o-rings/washers and be done with. Four o-ring kits at my Navistar dealership cost me $35 (Int 1843682C91) summer of 2010. No need to replace the sticks themselves unless you upgrading something "wilder".

I don't believe the kit #1843682C91 includes the HPO o-ring,. etc.
For that you need Alliant Power Injector Seal Kit AP0002

That Navistar part (1843682C91) is a "set" that comes with both o-rings for the injector barrel (white & black), copper washer and the o-ring (blue) for the pig-tail plug in the rocker box.

But it doesn't have the D-ring in the top of the injector where the oil rail fits into the injector, which is where the HPO leak is. For that you need the alliant set.

Brain fart, I'd forgotten about that o-ring. Maybe I need two cups of coffee before posting on the forums?

Well he replaced all 4 left side injectors and now there is a problem still with the pressure not being high enough. He said it fluctuates up and down. What do y'all think is the cause. He checked the hpop and the icp and said there were fine.
