Blinker plus odd issue
So my blinker switch is really loose so after say a bump or just a decent ride I'll be that guy that driving with his blinker on. So anyways I was wondering since these steering racks don't have the automatic shutoff switch that turns it off after you turn is there a replacement spring that keeps it tighter?
So the odd issue is this, my steering wheel sloughs off when its cold out??? It only happens early in the morning and it just comes off and my hands get all black so is it just old or what? Thanks.

69 The switches do have canceling cams that turn them off. I'm sorry I don't understand your lingo. What do you mean by " my steering wheel sloughs off when its cold out"????

Yeah, your turn signal is supposed to turn off after you turn, your switch is shot. And the steering wheel on my truck uses to do that...clean it a few times a week until you get the dry rotted layer off...it will shine up when you do that too

I think the best bet is to repaint it every few years. I'm planning on using a nice metalic black.
