I have recently wanted to install a subwoofer into my 2007 F150 FX2 Sport Crew cab truck. But i am having great trouble finding a box that will fit under the seat, and go over the jack holder and metal bars coming out under the seat. Would anybody know where i could find one?
McDavis and I had a discussion about this a couple of weeks ago. The JL boxes like Mcdavis has in his truck are very nice, but I found them a little out of my price range and opted to go with a little cheaper route. I bought my pioneer amp, pioneer sub, and custom box for under 300 bucks.
I found a guy on ebay who had exactly what I was looking for. I received the box and it looks great and fits a shallow mount 10" sub perfect. I only ordered the single sub box, but he had some double boxes available as well. I think the only way for a double box to work is to move the jack and other components under the passenger back seat.
Hi Jake00, I am also thinking of building a subwoofer box for my 2007 F150 SCAB and wonder do you have the outside dimension of the box? Thanks in advance.
