Gas is terribly way over priced too, a barrel of crude oil is only $89.88

Fortunately the only things I really use alot of gas in is the quads, the lawn mower and my bike, all of which arent getting used much right now.

We have diesel equipment as well except my dozer.
Havent found a decent diesel quad or snowmobiles yet, and the diesel zero turn I was eyeing up was 14 grand, yikes too rich for my blood!

there are a couple diesel ATV's/SxS's, but I haven't seen a diesel sled...Pretty sure that won't be on anyone's list to invent...

Yeah ive seen the arctic cat diesels. Not my cup o tea. Yeah a diesel sled might not be the best idea, sure would be convenient for me though!

I think that diesel sled is bound to be abit heavier which might not be a good thing.

Dunno how much heavier it would be then a 4 stroke. They make some fairly light diesel engines now a days!
I would think one of the major issues would be the constant cold weather. Its not like diesels cant handle the cold, but the long warm up times, and glow plug system would make things a bit more complicated.

That was my next thought, cold weather starting and diesels aren`t usually a good mix.

And you would want to worry about starting a diesel when its minus 20 and your 50 miles from your truck, or anywhere?!

I had a JD garden tractor that would run for ever on just a few gallons of diesel so even small stuff diesels are neat but still I don`t think I`d ever want a diesel sled.
