Trailer Brake Controller problem....

Trailer Brake Controller problem....
Just yesterday I noticed the light on the brake controller was on and remained on even when I turned off the car. I followed the wires from under the dash, into the engine bay, under the vehicle and to the rear bumper where it meets several other wires. I believe this is where the problem may be. Anyone have any experience or suggestions for this problem? I dont believe it has anything to do with inside the controller itself seeing as when I pull the manual trailer brake to the side the light gets brighter.

Trailer Brake Controller problem....
If you still have the wiring diagram/instructions, I would test each wire going into the controller for the proper voltage/no voltage. That might lead you where to look, or may determine the unit is bad itself.

Thanks for the instructions, I will have to go through the whole wiring start to finish and hopefully find a simple fixer along the way, thanks for the instructions again.
